The Koh-I-Noor Progresso Woodless Coloured Pencils do not have a wooden barrel. Instead they have a wafer-thin coloured outer coating that prevents colour getting onto the hands.
The soft luscious applicability allows multiple layering and mixing of colours. The Progresso Woodless Graphite Pencils are varnished and produce a broad stroke.
