These terms and conditions govern the use of this website.  Should you have any questions or wish to clarify the meaning of any of these Terms and Conditions, please contact Mercurius Australia prior to using this website.


Acknowledgement and acceptance of terms and conditions

This website is owned and operated by Mercurius Australia. By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to these terms, conditions and disclaimers as amended from time to time ("Terms and Conditions") and acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.

Amendments to Terms & Conditions

Mercurius Australia may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.  Any amendment will be effective immediately upon notification in this section of this website.  Your continued use of this website after any amendment becomes effective constitutes an agreement by you to abide by and be bound by these Terms & Conditions, as so amended.


All prices are quoted with GST. All effort will be made to list current and accurate prices, however, we reserve the right to alter prices without notice. If a price change takes affect after you have paid for your order but before we have dispatched it, we will contact you with the option to pay the new price or cancel the order.


Title of all goods remains with Mercurius Australia until it is fully paid and your order leaves our warehouse. At this time, the title of goods is transferred to you, the customer.


Delivery and Shipping

We are based in Melbourne and deliver Australia-wide using either Australia Post or our preferred courier company, Direct Freight. Currently we DO NOT accept international orders.

Deliveries are made between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. 

With Australia Post, if you are not home at the time of delivery, the parcel will be left at your address, if deemed safe by the Australia Post delivery person. If a safe place is not identifable, a card will be left and you will need to pickup the parcel from your local post office.

With Direct Freight, if you are not home at the time of delivery, the delivery driver will still leave the parcel at your address.

We aim to process all orders within 2-3 business days with delivery times depending on your location.

We will email you when you order has been dispatched and you will be able use the tracking number sent to you to track the progress of your delivery directly through the Australia Post or Direct Freight websites.

Delivery is charged as follows:

A$9.50 is our standard delivery charge for most deliveries within Australia.

Additional charges may be incurred for remote areas and/or extra large or heavy products. Where there is to be an additional charge, we will contact you to confirm the price and for payment before sending.

Special Instructions:

These can be entered during the checkout stage. This may be for any special instructions, including delivery instructions, delivery times or even if you wish us to remove the invoice before sending if the order is a gift.



We exchange or refund returned products in the following cases:

  • where the supply error is a packing error by Mercurius Australia.
  • where the products supplied are damaged or faulty, where the fault has occurred prior to  transit.  
  • at our discretion, where the products or order has been damaged or lost in transit. While all care is taken, Mercurius Australia can not be held responsible for any merchandise damaged or lost via initial or return post. It is the customer's responsibility to check goods on arrival to ensure no breakages have occurred in transit and report any transit damages or loss to us immediately. It is then at our discretion as to if a full or partial refund, or replacement product may be supplied. 
  • at our discretion, where a product has been ordered in error.

Processing your Return

Any claims for refund, exchange or return must be made within 7 business days of receipt of the goods.

Before returning any product, please contact us to discuss your return. For approved returns, we will issue you with a Return Authorisation and discuss postal arrangements.

For returns of incorrectly supplied or ordered products, please ensure these are in their original packaging, unused and in perfect condition.  

Please remember to include your Return Authorisation and package your returns well, as we can not issue refunds for products damaged during return transit.

Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for your return and refund to be processed after posting.


Privacy Policy

Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented or disclosed.

Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

Credit Card Payments

Mercurius.com.au is an NSIPS (National Secure Internet Payment Service) compliant website approved by National Australia Bank. If you select to pay with credit card, your payment will be made over the National Australian Bank's secure network. Your card details are never disclosed to us and are not held by us in our database.

PayPal Payments

PayPal Payments will be managed by PayPal through the secure PayPal API. Your PayPal and Credit Card details are never disclosed to us and are not held by us in our database.


Your personal data, including name and address is held in an encrypted database and is never disclosed or sold to any third party.

For your own protection we would advise all customers to run an up-to-date virus and anti-spyware software on their own computer.
